Developing Digital Competence in Slovenian Education

The initial one-year education was extended gradually to present compulsory nine-year basic education. Children start schooling at the age of six with basic education (single structure of primary and lower secondary education). This is followed by two-, threeor fouryear middle (upper secondary) vocational, technical or general education. Then there are three universities for graduate and postgraduate students.
